Between film shoots, I teach workshops in the craft of producing and production managing feature films at the renowned Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine. I specialize in topics including budgeting, scheduling, casting, dealing with unions, film shoot logistics, financing, post-production, digital filmmaking and distribution. I provide production forms and practical information using examples from the many feature films I’ve worked on and including screenings, discussions of working methodology and career-building advice. Workshops provide a quick immersion into the filmmaking disciplines and I highly recommend them for aspiring producers, directors or anyone interested in the process of making movies.
I should be teaching workshops in Rockport this coming summer and fall, work permitting, and am available in New Mexico between projects for individual consultation.
